These demonstrate a tendency towards coaching with an emphasis on democratic, results-driven theories. Among my lowest scoring traits is social awareness. To improve my ability of being mindful of how I portray myself to others, I will begin a journaling activity in which I document conflicts and frustrating encounters with peers. Journal writing allows for self-reflection on past experiences in order to find solutions to future problems (Walker, 2006). I will review the journal bi-weekly to assess opportunities for improvement. Another leadership development opportunity I will aim to improve is my ability to develop others. To develop others, I must first ensure I am a strong leader myself. Finding a mentor will improve this skill.
