Leadership Mesquite is a leading educational program designed to develop a select group of business and civic leaders for future leadership in the City of Mesquite. Each year, Dallas County Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel invites county leadership to represent the diverse work groups within local government organizations. In this years ‘Dallas County Day, DCHHS Director Zachary Thompson, Medical Director/Health Authority Dr. Christopher Perkins and Asst. Director Public Health Communicable Disease attending the event and delivered a presentation to members of the Leadership Mesquite program. The presentation focused on DCHHS programs in public health preparedness and efforts to protect the community.
