The lead tester is the one that may help to build the team and responsible of any build burned or in use; assuring that copies of the game for the testers are always available while checking on other testers. This is the one that will also choose a floor lead. In this case, the floor lead is an “unofficial” lead tester. They are the possible replacement if things go wrong or just be an assistant of the lead tester if things are going smoothly. They do not have real authority and might be temporary employees, but they have greater experience and deeper understanding of the development process.
