"I can't believe that you've been drinking Lavinia Marie. This is absolutely the last thing you should be doing."

Once the drunken bums were in the car, Flora climbed is with Mr. Darcy on her lap and she looked very sober, the complete opposite to Lavinia and Dan.

Ruby jumped into the driving seat saying, "Come on, we need to burn some rubber if we're going to make the last ferry."

They took to the road and Lavinia and Dan started singing drinking songs. Flora was struggling. She'd never seen this side of Dan. She was devastated. This was absolutely the worst day of her life. They drove at breakneck speed but when they arrived at the dock they were just in time to see the last ferry slide gently away from the dock. Lavinia and Dan woke up. They had both fallen asleep before they had even got out of Ocean Shores.

they were all asleep in the care except Dan. He'd not arrived back. He finally arrived back about 11 o'clock and got into the car and curled and went to sleep.
