Physiographic Regions are located within each of Latin America’s structural zones. According to Sanabria,”physiographic regions or provinces are sizeable terrains exhibiting distinctive and circumscribed topographic, climatological, altitudinal, soil, and vegetative features”(Sanabria, p.32). Out of the ten regions I chose to talk about Pampas, which are almost treeless flat grassland plains. The climate is Mediterranean and consists of extremely rich soils. I chose to talk about the Pampas because, it is in this region that the famous Argentine cowboys culture flourished during the 18th and 19th centuries.
