Before you begin preparing the lasagna, it is important that your kitchen counter is clean. This is vitally important because you will be placing food onto your counter. You might want to dampen a towel with hot soapy water and wipe down the surface of your kitchen counter. You may also use anti-bacterial wipes to clean the surface. If you do use anti-bacterial wipes, you must make sure you then wipe a dampen paper towel over the surface the wipes touched. This extra step will ensure that any food that is place onto the counter will not absorb any harmful chemicals left by the wipes. After cleaning your counter, you must now clean your hands. Wash your hands thoroughly so you can avoid contaminating your food with any bacteria; preventing any food borne-illnesses. …show more content…
The first step in this easy lasagna recipe is dicing one medium sized onion, and mincing three cloves of garlic that will be cooked with the ground beef. Then, you must take the ground beef out of the packaging and put it into a medium sized mixing bowl. Add in the diced onion and minced garlic to the ground beef. Work your clean hands through the beef, breaking it up and also mixing in the onion and garlic into it. After doing so, take out a medium sized sauce pan. Put the sauce pan on the stove over medium heat. Film your sauce pan with three tea-spoons of olive oil. You will know when the pan is hot enough to put in the meat mixture because the oil inside the pan will begin to crackle a bit. When the oil begins to crackle, put in the onion, garlic, and ground beef mixture. Make sure to grab a wooden spoon and mix the mixture around so the beef cooks thoroughly. When the beef is browned, turn off your stove. The next step is to drain any of the excess grease that seeps out. To do this, use a strainer. After draining the excess grease, put the browned meat into a clean medium mixing bowl and set it
