Las Vegas A couple of days during our vacation, we stayed in Zion Canyon. We rode a shuttle to several spots to hike several trails. A few trails we walked were Emerald Pools trails. It was a high elevation that we could overlook the river. We walked to the lower and upper emerald pools that looked pretty, but there’s water in the desert! Another trail I like was a short trail, that ended up where you could look at trees and the water was coming down the rock, the trail was called Weeping Rock. One of my favorite walks was walking the Narrows. We walked through cold water most of the time. We walked with our tennis shoes and it was amazing. We walked the Queen's/Navajo Combination loop. The trail went very deep into the canyon and when we walked up a hill, it was so tiring but there were unique features. While we were walking we saw the unique bluebird. The bird's wings and body were so bright and were amazed to watch it fly by. My parents and I make our way back to Las Vegas to spend the rest of our time before we leave. The day we drove back, we headed out at night to see a volcano erupt. Sunday, we went to the Valley of Fire, a state park. We saw pictoglyphics on rocks, arches, petrified logs. Then, we drove to Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs.
