Haze happens in Malaysia definitely will affect the company. Haze weather makes foreigners cannot relax and enjoy in Malaysia. Foreigners’ decision will be effected due to health condition. Especially the old people, they will easily get sick because of the reason of haze.

The age for such customers should be around 20 – 45 years old as people around these ages are most adventurous and are open to new cultures and traditions. The market research we have done shows that Caucasian tourists are most likely to be susceptible to homestay services at rural places as they are adventurous and want to escape the stress of city life to stay at a beautiful and peaceful environment. The definition of homestay is “a dwelling place together with a family unit that occupies it – household”. Homestay provides a unique opportunity to experience the way of life of the local people of an area along with the indigenous and traditional cultures within a comfortable homely setting (Boonratana, 2010; Kamisan, 2004; Kamisan et.al, 2007). Some of FruitLife’s main competitors would be Pelegong Homestay, Bukit Gantang Homestay and Kampung Ujong Bukit Homestay. The first two homestays mentioned above offer a wide variety of tropical fruits while the Kampung Ujong Bukit Homestay takes its guest to visit grape and mango plantations. Pelegong Homestay offers activities such as mengoca, rubber tapping, cooking demonstrations, handicraft making, cultural dances while Kampung Ujong Bukit Homestay offers cultural performance, traditional delicacies, visiting attractions, paddy planting. However, FruitLife offers something unique that its competitor does not. For example, we not only teach our guest how to pluck the fruits but also how to cook them as well as the different ways to eat it, we teach then new languages and take them to jungle trekking at Taman Negara Malaysia.
