Labor Unions is when employees have the legal right to bargain collectively with their employers and its used for bargaining in good faith and sometimes the demands are not met which could lead to strikes and it is within their right. The most negotiated things within Unions is better health care, pensions and better wages or even just making sure the company does not outsource their jobs. Some ways in which labor unions have helped workers is demonstrated with verizon workers who went on strike because their jobs were being outsourced to different countries just because the company wanted to cut down labor costs. Since the country came about its success is because of factory workers, it means their jobs are risky and most of them worked with heavy equipment and hazardous materials, those plantations had to make sure they had to adopt an environment to make sure that the workers went back home the way they came and not go back home worse than when they came in. if companies did not comply with adapting their workplace for their workers then OSHA is called just to make sure the adjustments are made.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) which helps make sure the workers the right to the job free from hazardous materials that could cause illness, physical harm or even death. According to the OSHA some of the categories in which they determine the amount of fines that a company needs to pay for violating workers right to a safe working environment are; repeat violations meaning irf a company has a lot of fines then they are most likely to get a larger fine or even get shut down, lso gravity based penalty is refers to the severity of the illness caused by the
