Photosynthesis is the development of the process which all living plants get their food from the sun, plants absorbed them water from the roots, plants get their food from the sunlight, plants get help of water and carbon dioxide to survive and give out oxygen and take carbon dioxide. Purpose of this experiment is to analyze the different plants coloring, stain, their movement and observe their activity of the plants. As we all know the sun is the most important energy source for all living craters in the universe, plant use this as their energy source and human use this as a light and to separate day and night. I think photosynthetic pigments must do with contrasting fundamental of lights, …show more content…
We draw a line on the paper, we dipped it in the jar which has some chemicals on it which help to separate the lines with different colors. After that we cut the papers and dipped it in the jar to make sure we get the same color. We did experiment on the plant too, the plant we used was the one we keep in the house which has green outside and dark blue inside. We took one leaf and put some clear nail polish on the top and tap it. At first I thought that the top part of the leaf contains more energy than the opposite side of the leaf.
3. Results: Verbally describe what you found. How many pigments were there? What did they look like? What wavelength(s) of light did they absorb? You should answer questions #1-4 on p. 141 of your lab book in this section. Also, you will need to create a graph of the 4 pigments in this section. Make sure to label your axes appropriately, and give the graph a
