Kuntillet ‘Ajurd also known as Horvat Teiman is “located approximately 50 kms south of Kadesh-barnea in northern Sinai, on a hill overlooking Wadi Quraiya” . In 1975-76 Archeologist Ze'ev Meshel conducted an excavation at Kuntilet Ajrud and dated 9th-8th century BC, the iron age II .
The site consists of two buildings a main build dubbed A with covers most of the hill, it is rectangler in shape. The translation varies slightly from each translator, for example; Meshel translates as "A[shy]o the K[ing] said: tell x, y, and z, may you be blessed by YHWH of Shomron (Samaria) and his ASHERAH” . While Devers translation is “X says” Say to Y and Yau’asah amd (to Z): I bless you by Yahweh, our guardian, and by his Asherah” and Hadley accounts is “X says: say to Yehal(Lel’el) and to Yo’asah and (to Z): I bless you by Yahweh of Samaria and by his Asherah” . Here you can see the slight variables; However, Devers does not give a place unlike Meshel and Hadley who say ‘Yahweh of Samaria’.
Pithoi B inscriptions translated by Hadley says; "Amaryaw says: to my lord: is it well with you? I bless you by Yahweh of Teman and by his Asherah. May he bless you and keep you and be with my lord"

Except for the dull roar of speeding cars on the highway beside the entrance, and the occasional, distant chirpings of birds, the scene was filled with a solemn quietude. As I walked further inside, vast fields of grass continued before me, segmented in an organized matter by the paved roads with rows of aligned trees. Some had gravestones, buried into the ground in neat lines, each facing in a north-south orientation, while others did not. Approaching what seemed to be a mere grassfield, I noticed the endless rows of…

Following the Exodus from Egypt the Israelites wandered the Sinai wilderness for forty years. Not sure of their future they began worshipping the Canaanite Pantheon instead of God and only upon threats from Moses did they stop their worshipping the pagan deities. Substantial amount of evidence from various archaeological excavations throughout the Levant confirm that the Israelites and the Canaanites believed in the same Father-God named El. The Kingdom of Israel, ruled by Jeroboam I, began a religiously divided nation with idols of El's such as the golden calf in the temples located in Dan and at Bethel and said "Here are your gods O Israel.…

Analysis on Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater The building that fascinates me all the time is Frank Lloyd Wright‘s Fallingwater, which has long been recognized as the milestone in the history of 20th-century Architecture. Commissioned in 1935 during the Great Depression by Edgar J. Kaufmann, the owner of the popular Kaufmann's Department Store in Pittsburgh, Fallingwater initially served as a vocation house for the Kaufmanns between 1937 and 1963. What I found interesting about this house is, although it’s a formal modernist structure designed by a professional architect, it responds to the surrounding environment in a similar way as the traditional vernacular architecture, suggesting an organic integration between humans and nature and a rediscovery…
