If you go through life without having a passion for something then you won’t be successful. The most famous people in today’s world wouldn’t be where they are today if they didn’t have a passion for what they wanted to achieve in life. When i was about 7 I had a strong passion to be a dancer like my uncle, and It was about 2 years later where my uncle decided to take me to one of his dance cyphers with his dance crew to test my skills and see what i have learned through the couple of years he trained me, A dance cypher is when you get a whole bunch of dancers of any style like popping , krumping , break dancing , turfing , bboy ..etc, together all in one space taking turns freestyle dancing. Passion can be used in all different ways like’’having strong liking or desire for or devotion to some activity, object, or concept ,sexual desire’’. Nevertheless , when i think of passion i think of an …show more content…
The reason why I love krump dancing better than any other style is but when I krump I can can get all my energy out that i may have inside me, or when i’m happy , mad or sad I can use krump dancing as an alternative to let my anger out besides hitting someone hitting a wall or hurting myself. I know it sounds silly like why would you dance when you're mad but believe it or not it actually works out well for me. Krump dance is underrated because it's a baby dance style compared to pop locking , b boy , break dancing ,etc…. , but when someone krumps the amount of energy that the person is giving off will make everybody around him hype and that's why i love krumping cause we constantly feeding off each other energy which is pretty tight too me. Overall I love the word passion because it gives my life meaning and purpose , and having a reason to improve in something in my life and a reason to

People are born with passion within them but also with a journey ahead of them to find what or where it is intended. Finding that passion comes in the brief or extensive discovery of something that resonates with themselves and their hearts. Passion is built from a simple introduction that quickly grows into more. For Darian Zachek, her passion for golf sparked from her father's attempt at an effort for bonding. At the age of seven years old, Zachek's father would take her out to the driving range as a way of bonding with his daughter, and it was from there that she continued to pursue the game.…

After viewing the video, I thought the slap dance was exactly like you said, it was meant to entertain the audience. Some observation that I notice is the performers mostly stomp and clap the soles of the shoes as well as slap each other on the head. The dance follow the beats and patterns of the music, creating harmony between the music and the dance. Their outfit looks traditional with women wearing long cotton dress topped with a bodice blouse and apron as well as knee high socks and black pumps shoe. The male had on short trouser, vest and knee high socks.…

There was a wise man who once said, do it with passion or not at all, because anything worth acting upon will ignite a spark within that is so insatiable that one cannot help but burn with the desire to do it. Passion can be defined as desire, and almost necessity, for something, whether it be love, happiness, work, or life in general. It is in the beginning of Irving Stone’s The Agony and The Ecstasy that we learn what could essentially be Michelangelo’s most defining trait…

One theory that puzzles the most of the people in the Cal Newport’s video is “following your passion, is a bad advice.” This goes along with Brian’s question about “how following your passion to enjoy your job, was actually a bad way to become passionate?” I think Cal Newport confuses the most of the people with the idea of “passion” versus “talent”. If we were to define the word passion and a talent, it will be. Passion is something that we have for something and act of doing something; we are not born with that.…

Simply put, I love dancing. I like moving my hips to the beat, feeling the rhythm inside my body like an electrical surge, enjoying every second of the music. Years have passed since I first started dancing, but I still have the same enthusiasm as if I am performing for the very first time whenever I hear a song that I danced to. Yet, dancing can be exceptionally intimidating and challenging, so much that I question my rationality at times.…

Many philosophers have a similar definition as the one written in this paper. So why do people still use the word passion in the wrong context? Plato in 429 BC and Spinoza in 1632 wrote, “Passion is experiencing a kind of suffering, as if a slave to their passion, because it comes to control them (Vallerand, 2012). Passion is where the person shows their true capacity, Frijda et al said in 1991, “People will spend large amounts of time and effort in order to reach their passionate goals” (Vallerand, 2012). Passion is the one thing that keeps this person going or loving a…
