Description of Organization, all subsidiaries and business units, history Kroger Co. is among the top companies that principally operate as grocery stores. While they have expanded into different formats, they are large enough to offer a very good whole health section, organic produce and fresh seafood. Dillon, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and W. Rodney McMullen, Chief Executive Officer, Director. Both Mr. Dillon and Mr. McMullen have a long history with Kroger. Mr. McMullen started out as a part-time stock clerk in 1978 and has worked his way up in the company over the years. This says a lot about a company. Instead of bringing in outsiders to management Kroger has awarded its employees with opportunities for advancement within the company. I am a frequent shopper to a local Kroger in my neighborhood and know associates that have worked there since the 1990’s. The customer service is excellent and I never have a problem that is not resolved quickly and
