Kool-Aid: A Film Analysis

We were all immersed in the World War I movie Mr. Martell started to show us. The story was practical since it was talking about a true War story. We finished the movie and answered a few reflection questions. In chemistry, we took our quest. The quest was a combination of explanatory problems and math problems. I tried to prevent my handwriting from looking illegible, even including a few illustrations in my explanations. I was not able to relax during tutorial since I had to attend a legislative council meeting. The meeting only lasted twenty-five minutes, since there were no club presentations today. A twenty-five minute meeting is usually impossible. In PE, Mr. Kenworthy let us skip a run because it was pouring outside. Instead, we played impromptu games of indoor soccer. In Chinese, Mrs. Chen let us practice our skits for about thirty minutes. While students were presenting the skits, …show more content…
The test was very hard, and we were impugned at every question. However, I do not think the test was inaptly hard. After the test, I walked to chemistry. We had a very fun lab today! We were able to make and taste different concentrations of Kool-Aid. Some of our measurements were slightly imprecise because of human error, but the Kool-Aid still tasted very good. In Chinese, we tested reading with multiple-choice questions. I score full score on the test. There were a few idiosyncratic questions, but I managed to figure them out. In band, we spent the entire ninety minutes working on improving our performance songs. The band concert was quite interesting, since it was a nice feeling to see the levels of the other bands. Most of the other schools had more than one hundred people in the band! Compared to them, our band would be imperceptible. If it were not for the sound systems around the auditorium, our band would pretty much be inaudible. Anyway, the band exchange was pretty fun since we were able to hear bands from other

Don’t drink the kool aid "Make sure you stay away from the abandoned building," they said. I should have listened. I was in the basement when I notice red liquid splashed into a shadow and I was scared hoping the liquid isn’t what I think it is. I flicked the light switch up hoping my question would be answered but instead a loud *bang* echoed throughout the room and a shower of sparks fell in front of me and I noticed the light exploded.…

The Service Setting Appeal I attended a class held in a lecture hall at Bellevue College in Bellevue, Washington where I earned my associate’s degree. The area of study for the class was history and it was held in the only lecture hall on the campus, the Paccar Conference and Lecture Hall. The institution was very proud of the hall and along with holding lectures, would rent it out to local businesses and associations for use. I remember the environment of the hall and my learning experience very well because the professor made a point to tell the class about the hall’s acoustic design and the overall service setting and that is a memory that is always stuck with me.…

I am interested in returning as a FIG Peer Mentor for the Fall 2018 school year because I would like to continue to make differences in the lives of incoming students. This semester, I met a wonderful group of students; however, initially I was very hesitant because I constantly worried that I would not be able to perform to the best of my abilities as a mentor. While my students were in the College of Natural Sciences, they were very diverse; some had come in knowing what their major was, but many were either undeclared or looking to transfer to another college. Along with this, some students came in with many college credits while others were completely fresh to university life. Finding a common ground was very difficult with the students.…

It was a great experience and equally pleasing to apply the concepts and reference the history we are learning about in class. With regards to time, the concert was much shorter than I thought it would be, an hour in length. I think this is a reasonable amount of time. In reflection, I feel that if it had continued on for three hours, I would have lost interest. With that being said, listening to the music live felt different than listening to it on youtube.…

Here in Brentwood High School, testing occupies a very distinctive position that only precautious individuals can survive with observant tactics. Tests are very natural parts of the course pattern and are essential for understanding the possible success rate. However, on the part of the students, it can be a fair degree of a lethal predicament. So, certain precautions are needed for smooth passing of the exam day. First, you must make sure that the exam does not get you faint; and to ensure that, you must prepare well on the possible content of the exam.…

As a freshman who has only been in college for a week I wanted to know what a college student life was like. I was interested in finding out how students socialize in the dining hall. For this reason, I wanted to know if they were influence by their race, age, physically reasons or personal relationships. I order to do these observations I went to the dining hall during lunch time. First of all, the students I observed were not aware of me taking notes of their behaviors.…

My experience with the Crossroads Community Center’s “Practicing Inclusive Excellence”, or “PIE” workshop, was an extremely positive one. Paige Bolden, the facilitator, and coordinator of intercultural engagement and her intern Kelsey used a series of group activities to teach us not only about ourselves but also gain a better understanding of our class as a whole. The workshop encouraged us to be open-minded and to not make rash assumptions about others without knowing them. The first day of the workshop we took all of the chairs in the room and made a large circle so everyone could see, and we didn’t feel like we were being “lectured” at.…

During my time with the fourth graders, I took a closer look at the solid behavior classroom supports being used. Along with these supports, I was extremely impressed by the way Mrs. Flinn handled classroom management. Even though I observed during a very exciting week, she had great control over her students.…
