Kobe Bryant was born on August 23, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His dad was Joe Bryant, and used to play for Philadelphia 76ers player. Kobe Bryant started playing basketball at 3 years old, and his favorite team was the Lakers. Kobe was six years old when his father moved to Italy to play basketball, leaving the NBA behind. He grew up in the newer places and learned to speak the local language. He only came to the USA in the summer to play in the Summer Leagues. He also played soccer when he was staying in Italy and was an ardent supporter of AC Milan.Kobe Bryant’s goal was to make it to the NBA (National Basketball Association) and take care of his family.
Kobe Bryant achieved his goal by working hard.
