Kitchen Island -The kitchen has traditionally experienced three main design and style elements, the cabinets, work space and the appliances. The cabinets are used for storage, counters are used as preparation areas and the appliances for cooking or various some other handling like refrigeration, food preparation, cutting, etc. Until after World Conflict II, in the us all three were supplied by stand alone furnishings.
