Summary- From the Description/Job Summary it looks looke like this is an elite or premium training facility. Being that it is an advanced performance center I would expect its trainers need to be just as if not more advanced. It has several mentions of competitive training and seems to have an emphasis on Althletic weight training. As a trainer obviously I would be directly involved with patient exercise and training. Summary- Exercise Physiologist works directly under a Cardiopulmonary Rehab RN and respiratory therapist staff. I would assist physicians in patient treatment plans obviously for there cardiopulmonary system. Responsibilities include, patient assessment, designing PT programs according to unique cases, maintaing patient records, delivering exercise to patients. So sounds like I will be working directly with Physicians and other healthcare providers to rehab patients with CP disease or injury. Pretty cool!
Degree needed- Bachelors of Exercise Science, EKG experience, preffered BLS and ACLS.
Licensure- Licensure could be obtained from OTC; which is a local tech school. They provide Basic EMT and Advanced EMT which would gather exposure to EKG and ACLS.
