Through out the play the central conflict of Kingdom City is the overpowering strong personality and perspective of the two main characters, which then leads to conflict between all the characters in the play. Luke was the town pastor and hence had very strong religious views but on the other hand Miriam was new to town and had a very city girl views. There wasn’t one moment where I was questioning how the characters felt, I felt what they felt when they felt it, in the play. I also liked that I was able to connect with the characters easily, for instance I was raised with a religious background so I understood the difficulty it can be to stand up for what you believe in instead of what someone else wants you to believe in. Lastly I enjoyed how the play wasn’t predictable, it left me guessing about what events would follow and when I thought I knew what was able to happen I was wrong. Overall, I enjoyed the production of Kingdom City and felt that the cast did a wonderful
