The lesson in the story the King and the Shirt the king was really sick and needed to be happy to get better. The first story teaches us that you don't need a happy shirt to make you happy. So the lesson was about the king don't need a happy shirt to be happy. The next story the stonecutter teaches was that the stonecutter was jealous. The lesson was taught because the stonecutter seen all kinds of things he wanted to be and wished he could be it and his wish came true and for most of you I would not can true this is why the lesson was taught. As you can see the parables taught us a lesson.
