There has been great tension between the US and North Korea, mainly between Donald trump and Kim Jong Un. There has been many words thrown back and forth between both of these high powering officials. Kim made a television statement saying that Donald Trump was “mentally deranged,” and in response Trump said that “Kim Jong Un of North Korea, who is obviously a madman who doesn't mind starving or killing his people, will be tested like never before!” Now, there is even more tension between both of these powers, which could lead to a devastating war. Now pictures have been sent showing that North korea could test a powerful nuclear weapon over the pacific ocean in response to US Donald Trump's threats of military action, the country's foreign …show more content…
Having Kim and Trump threatening each other and testing powerful Nuclear weapons just to show who has more power, who is stronger, and more deadly, is a very immature and deadly act to do. I wouldn't be surprised if a war between the US and North Korea launched due to both of these people. When someone threatens and continues to threaten one of the most ruthless and powerful pleaders in the world Kim Jong Un, and keeps doing it without thinking of the consequences, could lead to devastation between nations. President Trump thinks that nothing will happen to him, that he is untouchable because he lives in the whitehouse, and is the president, but that just puts you in more danger because that would be one of the first places North Korea would bomb if they did. Although Kim Jong Un started the comments, president trump didn't have to respond, but sadly that's who he is, a man who lives to create trouble between countries, thinking it’s the right thing to do. President Trump is not the only one to blame though because Kim jong Un didn't have to send the messages in the first place. It’s not only terrifying that North Korea could possibly send a nuclear weapon in the ocean, but that also affects the ocean, destroying coral reefs. Which are now due to climate change dying off; this would just keep increasing the number of coral reefs dying, leading to loss of habitat of fish killing them. These threats between countries need to stop before it escalates, this will affect the world population as a whole, if two of the strongest powers get into an international war. This needs to end, before physical violence

Jong-UN had scheduled to have a long-range ballistic missile and a nuclear weapons test to be conducted some time in the year 2016. When the order for the weapons testing became public knowledge many countries ordered North Korea to cancel the test. The country that pushed the hardest to get Kim Jong-UN to cancel the test was China, North Korea’s only major political ally. Jong-UN refused to orders to stop to insure that North Korea has a working way to deliver a nuclear payload to a distant target. Many believe that this is a way North Korea is trying to get the attention of the United States and its allies and to prevent them form changing their way of life.…

An example of this is that Korea has not mobilized their troops or Navy either. Kim and his officials are no stranger to fiery, war-like rhetoric, often threatening to immolate the U.S. in "a sea of fire" and to reduce "the whole of the U.S. mainland to ruins." Since assuming office, Trump has also joined in with bold language of his own, warning North Korea that he could visit "fire" and "fury" on the authoritarian regime if it threatened the…

In his article for the Associated Press, Eric Talmadge focuses on an educated analysis regarding the goals and desires of the North Korean regime by underlining their need to stay in power and obtain the respect of the world leaders. It’s Talmadge’s view that North Korea will never willingly abandon their goal of nuclear weapons because the ruling cadre sees it as the only path to survival and recognition. The premise is that North Korea is willing to risk the ire of their lone ally, China, the anger of the United Nations, and the very lives of their population in order to maintain their control over the country. Using the recent detonation of a nuclear device, Talmadge outlines how North Korea is demonstrating their abilities to the world…

Nuclear war has always been big talk in the 21s century especially with North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un’s statement about it, do to this the danger of a nuclear disaster today is higher than it was during the Cold War. I believe John F. Kennedy’s flexible response to foreign policy should be used against nuclear aggressors. Flexible response was an effective policy because it limited nuclear warfare, and used other conventional forces, stopped nuclear testing, and it prevented the cuban crisis. Unlike Eisenhower's policy of brinkmanship, Kennedy wanted to limit any case of nuclear war breaking out. “Kennedy disregarded costs and emphasized sufficient flexibility to avoid either escalation or humiliation.…

Messages to the World: The Statements of Osama Bin Laden Bruce Lawrence (the compiler) points out that while occasional fragments of bin Laden's words are cited, official pressures have ensured that, for the most part, his voice has been tacitly censured - as though too dangerous to hear. "Messages to the World" contains interviews with the terrorist leader Osama bin Laden, and various statements attributed to him. There is something obscene about reading the self-justifications of an acknowledged mass murderer. But what makes the collected speeches, interviews, Web postings and other public statements of Osama bin Laden different from, say, "Helter Skelter," is that bin Laden is not clinically mad. He gives reasons for his actions that, while…

Some people may think that we shouldn’t because of how dangerous it may be to go to war with a country that has nuclear bombs. Donald Trump is slowly failing in this first year of presidency. By saying things that are not only unprofessional, but rude, and ignorant, he endangers himself and the rest of America. North Korea replied by saying that Trump's threat is simply nothing but a "dog bark". Kim Jong Un was also quoted saying "There is a saying here 'Even when the dog barks, the parade goes on.'". Not only did Trump's threat endanger us but did nothing to scare or effect the country of North Korea.…

Kim Jong-Un has made the country even more isolated than before by making security tighter at the border between China and North Korea, and he has made the punishments for crossing the border even more morose. Although he has enabled people to have larger economic freedom, Kim has still not allowed freedom of speech or thought. Although North Korea does not seem like it should be a powerful country, Kim Jong-Un’s philosophies and formidableness has made his nation’s army stand tall with loyalty because of the totalitarian government he runs. Because of their different political and moral beliefs, many say that Kim Jong-Un and Donald Trump do not get along. “The two exchanged numerous threats of warfare, and even took to personally insulting the…

If someone is in danger or they feel threatened, is war necessary? Some people believe it is, but others believe it is not. is sometimes preferred because some countries don’t respond to just talking. Also, some countries might start war on our country, so war is necessary to stop them. For example with North Korea, they do not respond to talking and threaten the United States with nuclear threats, talking with them will not work and could just result to an attack on the U.S. War is oftentimes necessary because sometimes violence is necessary, there are positives to declaring war, and it can get things done faster.…
