The book and the movie have some differences. LIke when max got kidnapped freak stole a car. Killer kane stole a truck to kidnap max in the movie and its different. The millpond in the movie and the book is different. So i'm gonna compare and contrast it. So in the book Killer Kane kidnapped max and they took a walk and went to loretta’s house. In the movie kane stole a car and kidnapped Max and went to an abandoned apartment where loretta was staying with Iggy. Kane and Max were the apartment next to them.
