Decent Essays
I am writing this recommendation at the request of Kennard Robinson. He is in my OneGoal course which is a college prep class to assist with applications, financial aid, and scholarships. Kennard has demonstrated a great deal of perseverance in completing not only his class work but all the extracurricular tasks such as completing scholarships and other college related paperwork and playing basketball. Kennard has been a delight to have in class. He has demonstrated excellent leadership skills, and his candor is absolutely refreshing. If I were going into battle, Kennard is someone who I would select to be on my side.

His knowledge, personality, and altruistic character led the University of Northern Iowa to new heights. I was a student-athlete at the University of Northern Iowa majoring in Exercise Science when Jed became the head strength and conditioning coach. Jed started a tradition and foundation at UNI on an academic level as well as athletic. Academically, he worked closely with the exercise science department to put more of an emphasis on strength and conditioning as a profession, which further led to both of my degrees in Exercise Science (i.e., M.A. and B.A.).…
