Kappa Sigma Case Study

Being one of the biggest fraternities in the nation brings on a lot of pressure and being on a campus that recently has had trouble with IFC fraternities is also a bunch on a bunch pressure. Kappa Sigma takes this pressure in stride staying involved on campus, in the community as well as having a good time! From the moment, you meet a Kappa Sig you want them to be your friend a sweet, and goofy group brings people in they are usually the life of the party. Having fun is not all that Kappa Sigma believes is important the organization makes sure that their footprint is shown on campus by staying involved with activities around campus activities and serving the local community and their annual philanthropy. Working so closely with the on-campus fraternity Kappa Sigma for the homecoming dance I really got to see the best in them and what really made the organization stand out. This further peaked my curiosity and made me think maybe this could be the right organization. Never would I have thought that my values would align so closely with a group of boys like they did with Kappa Sigma. I saw exactly what the pledge Scott Fisher saw when he first met a Kappa Sigma boy “ I met guys who I got along with and who really watched out for me.” The boys of Kappa Sigma instantly create strong bonds with the people that they meet wherever they go, warming them up and make them feel wanted and welcome in whatever situation they’re in. That’s the main reason I wanted to write over this special organization. I wanted a group A group who cared so much about their members they kept track of them and were a resource and guide for them. I wanted more than an organization… I wanted a family.
