From the Kano diagrams video, it can be summarized as a graphical representation of customer satisfaction as a function of their expectations in a product or service. The outcome results from the use of Kano Diagram is helping the team to prioritize customer requirements, to make sure that no expected features have been overlooked, to identify features or functions that competitors do not have, and to invent and innovate.

The application of the benchmarking was providing the specific numerical value about the competitors that related to the engineering specification that want to be included in the design. The challenges with the using benchmarking during the sophomore design was it took time to research and study about the other product especially there was no similar or related product. The results of utilizing the tool was the team can know better about engineering specification through the competitors’ product, which is very important for designing new concept and new features for the team …show more content…
There should be five outcome results from the use of the tool. First, all project tasks are accounted for and assigned. Second, project critical path is shown, float times can also be seen by team as well as sponsor. Third, project manager will know how much time is available to the project. Fourth, any change to project scope or task execution can be evaluated quickly as to impact to project completion. Last but not least, it will allow project team to be proactive to many typical project schedule issues.

This GANTT Chart has been used by the team in sophomore design class before. The application of GANTT Chart was time management for every project scope and team preparation for any schedule issues. The challenges with the using tool was the team always one step behind the schedule because the information that the team put in the GANTT chart is not accurate (due to lack of experience using this tool for the first time).
