In this case, the advertisement portrays Justin Trudeau as a leader who has a plan to bring real change for the middle class citizens of Canada. A testimonial ad is when the party seeks positive endorsement from real people about their party leader. Prime minister candidates for federal elections used to be little more than the leaders of their respective political parties. Besides the unconscious first impressions, the Canadian public typically understood very little about the individuals that may lead the country. Reasonably so, Canadian leaders are not always in the spotlight unless major events occur such as a law implementation or a tragic disaster. The lengthier campaigns simply create additional leaders debates and speeches. These additional demonstrations allow citizens to have a higher interest in party policy and their specific views on certain issues, even minor ones, as they will have increased exposure.…

This cartoon is about the Canadian Pension Plan and how Kathleen Wynne, Premier of Ontario, wanted to create a special pension plan for Ontario (ORPP) simply because she noticed that nearly two-thirds of Ontarians have no workplace pension. Her initial idea was to enhance the already existing CPP, but Prime Minister Stephen Harper refused to improve the benefits, therefore forcing Wynne to introduce the Ontario Retirement Pension Plan. Justin Trudeau, however, had repeatedly pledged to boost the CPP and strengthen the retirement security, along with Wynne and her original idea. This entire plan of the cancellation was mentioned in Ontario, if Justin Trudeau and the Liberals take a majority win. Kathleen Wynne made her plan clear in Oakville,…

Ontario Liberals have a long tradition of working to improve the lives of all Ontarians. Today we continue on in the best tradition of the early party – whether it be making post-secondary education more affordable, and more in reach, giving families more money to help with the high cost of raising their kids, or investing in sustainable infrastructure, which makes our communities safer and more resilient, even helping to make Ontario a North American leader in clean technology – attracting more, higher paying jobs for Ontario families. It is important that the people who live here, and that will be mostly affected by who is chosen to become prime minister has their fair share of needs met, and their opinions voiced. With the cost of post-secondary…

Another way that Trudeau is helping the world is by removing Canada from being associated with the bombing of the Islamic states of Iraq and Syria. Trudeau mentions that nothing good will come from the bombings and that the poor civilians in both the countries will still suffer. With this knowledge he ended combat, however he mentions that he will not stop trying to defeat ISIS. After retreating from the combat, Trudeau declared that Canada was going to be taking in over twenty thousand Syrian refugees. The world saw the struggle the Syrians had in their country and they did everything to escape.…

There was a quote said once by Pierre Trudeau, “Canada will be a strong country when Canadians of all provinces feel at home, in all parts of the country, and when they feel that all Canada belongs to them”. Trudeau was hoping that while he was Prime Minister, he would make every Canadian love their country and feel like everyone belongs. Trudeau took office in 1968 and ended his first term in 1979 and did a second term from 1980–84. During his time in office, he accomplished many things. Trudeau created the Official Languages Act of 1969, He enacted the War Measures Act during the FLQ Crisis in 1970, and made the Constitution Act of 1982. For these three Reasons, Pierre Trudeau was a successful Prime Minister during his time in office.…

In the Arms of the Angel When a person is affected emotionally by something, these feelings cause them to act drastically beyond their own judgement. One example of this would be the bond between man and animal. A human would go out of their way to provide loyalty, happiness, and care for their pets. With this being said, seeing an animal hurt or in inadequate conditions could cause a person to feel sympathetic for the animal. The British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is an organization that feels the same and would do anything in its power to help an animal in need.…

rest of my essay. One of the quotes that I did not incorporate well in my revised Building Block was the quote that said, “Paul Lauter, who is known for his article explaining the conventions of modernism, has said that “willingness to disrupt syntax and form...in order to challenge the audience’s preconceived notion of value and order” (Lauter 887).” One of the things that helped me a lot to improve the incorporation of my quotes is the advice that I got from an instructor at the writing center. The instructor told me that in order to improve my incorporation of quotes, I need to make sure that it sounds as a single sentence as if the quotation marks were not there. Therefore, as I wrote my Rhetorical Analysis paper and my Rhetoric in Practice…

I believe when we genuinely love something with devoted passion, we will definitely put a lot of effort into it without any reluctance even though it may consume much time.
