Justin Trudeau Real Change

In the ad, Real Change by the Liberal party, it begins with patriotic colors of red and white with momentous music and asks, “what does real leadership mean?” and answers itself on how Justin Trudeau can lead change. Throughout the ad it supports itself by presenting guest speakers from different cultural backgrounds, jobs, males and females speaking Canada’s official languages: French and English. They state the economy is going downhill with the current government, Stephan Harper and Tom Mulcair (NDP), who provides “no real ideas”. Therefore, with the special guests, Justin Trudeau uses to support himself to send an overall message that he can lead change for all Canadians by reducing taxes for the middle class and taxing more of the rich, for a stronger middle class. Through the portrayal of the variety of guest speakers including visible minorities, Canada’s official languages, aboriginal, young and old people, women and men, it emphasizes multiculturalism and inclusiveness, as it does not exclude minorities. In addition, this ad puts a lot of attention of pride of being Canadian through the patriotic colors of red and white, as well as through the optimism of being able to create change as a united community of Canadians rather than independently. All in all, through political ads as a whole it aims to increase participation for Canadians to vote for the party rather then the opposition, therefore revealing some transparency, there is a variety to vote
