Jung Typology & DISC Behavioral profile assessment Reflection
Over the past few months I have been very curious about myself, like; What kind of person am I? Why do I feel like this, right now? Seriously pondering my life at moments. Randomly braking down confused about myself. Crazy, I’m thinking, who knows more about yourself than, you of course? I question taking some generic self-assessment that I found online, but knew deep down that I wouldn’t care of the results based off its creditability. Luckily one of my first class assignment of the year required me to take some legit self-assessments: Jung typology personality test and Innermetrix Disc Index. Jung Typology personality first appeared as the typical self-assessments that I have taking in the past. A series of personal questions from time management to compassion level, it even had the always loved adds along the side of the website. It wasn’t until it ended and I receive my results, that I realize that it was legit. My results reveled that I was an “ENFJ”, meaning I was extraverted, intuitive, feeling and judging. At first glance I was surprised to see that it said that I was extraverted. Granted it was based off of my answers to those questions, but I did answer as truthful as I could. For one this is Leadership 200. What kind of leadership style does these two assessments portray? Honestly, I believe that the two assessments proved that I tend to run more of and democratic leadership style. Leaning more towards the participative type. I want to get everyone involved, the more everyone is involved the better the environment is. I know everyone has heard this saying “Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish, you fee him for a lifetime.” I much rather teach someone how to get a job done than just tell them to do it and have to worry about the headache of it being
