The times of Julius Caesar and how he contributed to the world.
Julius Caesar was a symbol of Rome born into the right family. He had a lot of respect from a young age. He had a good education and a lot of ambition. His ambition made him work hard so+ he had a lot of luck, but his ambition made him a little too confident and all he had turned around on him.
Early life of Julius
Born July 12, 100 B.C.E into a noble history, Julius Caesar was well educated and his family was well known. Caesar took many risk as a leader with his military ability. He was a great leader and knew how to influence his troops and get them ready for a battle. Caesar knew how to manipulate people. Which some people could say was a good and bad trait for a leader. Some people saw it as a bad trait and thought all his power would get to his head and just ruin life for them. Caesars enemies seemed not to be able to get to him though because he was so loved by his troops. His troops would do anything for him, like follow him anywhere and die for him.
The downfall of Julius Caesar. Some say Caesars death was caused by himself and him having too much pride. Him not excepting the crown shows he does want it because of all the pride. Julius had so much power he could make changes to Rome very quickly. Senates were jealous of Caesar because of his great power, and how he could make great changes probably faster than they wanted to. So the Senates come up with this big great plan to kill Caesar. All of his “friends” turn on him thinking that they deserve power and respect more than he does. To Caesars downfall he was murdered by his own friends. The Senates plan worked, but they didn’t really think about the outcome through as it all ends with war and their plan to get all the power only lasted for a little bit. It turned into all of them betraying each other. It was a sign when Julius died, because he was the symbol of Rome and he had fallen. That leads the citizens of Rome to think Rome has fallen too.
