“Words are potent weapons for all causes, good or bad” (Manly Hall). This compelling idea is brought up various times in Julius Caesar and on Earth today. Julius Caesar was a tragedy written by William Shakespeare in 1599 A.D. The plot in this story, is seen to be embodied by the idea, that words are robust. Shakespeare demonstrates this, through many of the characters and their actions. In addition, this theme also appears in the world’s history. Clearly, throughout the tragedy of Julius Caesar, William Shakespeare introduces the true statement, displayed in history as well, that words hold definite power.

Gandhi is seen using influential words when he says, “Be the change you want to see in the world” (Gandhi). This quote illustrates the convincing manner of words, because these words convinced many people that India should have it’s Independence from Britain.
