The Joseph Family History
1. Narrative
On June 25th is my parent’s 20th wedding anniversary. They met in 1991 from knowing a mutual friend. They met at an ice cream store called Licks in downtown Denver. My parents got engaged on December, 19th ,1995. They were married at the John Paul II center in south Denver. They had three kids James, born in 1998, Marisa, born in 2000, and Me, Philip, born in 2002.
My dad has four sisters Christine, Doreen, Cindy, and Margie. Their parents are Marylyn and Richard On his side of the family I have eight cousins Jeremy, Linsey, Joshua, Paul, Connor, Josh, Grace, and Maddie. My dad’s family has a lot of Lebanese heritage. Their parents are Fred and Peggy. When they met, the first thing that Fred said to Peggy was “Are you Catholic?”. I have ten cousins on my mom’s side of the family. Colin, Seamus, Maureen, John Paul, Mary Therese, Eamon, Madilyn, Brenden, Ronan, and Eileen. Irish heritage is important on my mom’s side of my family. My mom and my Uncle Regan both teach Irish Dancing. My mom has toured with many Irish musical groups. She was also part of a musical group called Cherish The Ladies. My uncle danced with many Irish acts, and he started a musical group called Celtic Thunder. My grandma was from Wisconsin and my grandpa grew up in Minnesota. We do not know any family in Minnesota except my grandfather’s brother Aunt Marge. My uncle Brian lives in Colorado and my Uncle Regan lives in New Jersey with all his kids except Seamus who goes to college in Virginia. I am definitely a morning person. When I was younger, I would wake up at 5:30 in the morning and look at maps. I am a big fan of pineapple on pizza as well. My favorite TV Show is Studio C, and my favorite movie is Ernest Goes to Jail. My favorite type of music is Celtic Music. My favorite song in Erin by Wolfstone. My favorite outdoor activity is playing baseball. My favorite indoor activity is watching Studio C. My favorite board game is playing cards. My favorite holiday is either Christmas, Easter, or Fourth of July. My favorite place to visit is Moab, Utah. The funniest thing I did when I was a kid was when I was three years old my mom would go to Starbucks and the employees would know my name and I would know their name.
