The Socials were not responsible for Johnny’s death. Johnny was a young boy, 16 years old to be exact. He lived a sad life at home with parents that really didn’t care about him. His family was a gang of Greasers who robbed stores, got into fights, and some of them had criminal records. Johnny died from a church fire. A piece of the roof fell on him, breaking his spine. How is that the Socials fault? It’s not because Johnny had a choice of going into the fire or not. If he would have never ran away with Pony, he wouldn’t have ever been at that church fire.
