John Proctor has changed throughout the story because at the beginning he didn’t care much

about what he did.Throughout the story he started to care and he wanted to make things right with his

wife.He started to understand what he did was wrong and that he shouldn’t of done what he did with

Abigail Williams.John committed the crime adultery and he didn’t want people to find out throughout

the story because he would get in trouble.He used to not want redemption but now he does since

Abigail accused his wife of witchcraft.John used to not be emotional but in the end he was crying and

standing up for what he believed in.

John started to stand for what he believed in throughout the story since he didn’t admit to

commiting
