Hebrews 12:2 tells us what he did with it: "For the joy set before Him [he] endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Jesus despised the shame
• When shame began to come over him and tempt him to disobedience to be a witness for God and to the gospel o He despised the shame and would not let it rule over Him
• How did he do that? o “Hebrews 12:2,”for the joy set before him”
Shame was taking away Jesus earthly supports
