Jay Leno grew up in Andover, Massachusetts (Crockett). As a child Jay was always working harder in school even though he learned differently. “Everybody has something”, this was said by Jay Leno (Crockett) What he meant was that no matter who you are, you can do something. He got taught a lot at home as well. Another thing he always said was, “My mom was a smart lady, but certainly not a well-educated lady, so she put a lot of effort into education,” (Crockett). His mother would always be willing to help. In the long run Leno does not think that dyslexia affects him that much because of what he does as a car collector
