One of the ways that Magic shows this is through his creation of his Community Empowerment Centers and HIV buisness (Johnson). On top of that the business cost him sixty million dollars, but HIV and AIDS infection was reduced by fifty percent (Labrecque 41). Also, in 1990 Magic spent two million dollars on charity (Aretha 69). Furthermore, Magic had an education program where he said “So many people take computer technology for granted because it’s such a major part of society now, but imagine not have the education or access to computers. Low -income African American and Latino children are risk of being left behind and overlooked for jobs because they have not received the education and training like other ethnic groups. But, thanks to organizations that have a strong sense of responsibility, my foundation can come into the community and provide the necessary training and education that kids may not be getting otherwise” (Johnson). As you can see Magic was a selfless when it comes to people in need.
