In this video, Elliot discussed how a certain eye color means that you are better than another. She is demonstrating prejudice and discrimination towards anyone who doesn’t have blue eyes. I believe that this activity will just make the mindset of the child a bad situation. If I had a choice on whether I wanted my child in this, I would respectfully decline. I know that I am a good person, but in this society children are growing up with different kinds of thinking. You would never know if it would lead them on a good path, like Elliot’s class, or a bad path. I just feel like it would corrupt the child’s brain if your parents teach you to befriend everyone but your teacher teaches you to only befriend people who have a certain characteristic as you. I absolutely feel like parents should have the option to prevent their child from a project like this. Parents want what’s best for their child. Teachers are just supposed to educate, make sure that the student can comprehend everything, and passing the student to the next
