When we think of Jack Welch than we think as one of the most successful business leaders in the 20th century, recognized and awarded by Forbs magazine (McKelvey, 2010) and wildly recognized as the best CEO in the world. He had been appointed in 1981 as the youngest CEO in General Electrics. During his time, he managed to increase the company value from $13 billion to $480 billion as the biggest company worldwide.

Without measurable results, the other "E's" are of little use. Executers recognize that activity and productivity are not the same and are capable of converting energy and edge into action and results. Execute is the ability to get job done. (Welch & Welch, 2005)
Jack Welch’s leadership style according to Goleman’s 6 Leadership styles is more of a “Pacesetting” and “Coaching” leadership style where he motivates people, sets expectations and always looks to the level of all sections of the people from junior level to senior level management by coaching, mentoring and identifying the future leaders. According to the Theory X and Theory Y , Jack belongs more to a Theory Y leader where he assumes employees are motivated and takes responsibility and solves problems imaginatively.
The charisma of Jack Welch makes the strong relationship between him and his subordinates. Forming organization without any layers, informality in cooperation and readiness to lesson and know his employees makes Welch one of the greatest leaders in the 20th century.
