The Patriots, The Loyalist, and the “Fence Sitters”

The Patriots should win the war. Simply put the Patriots should win the American Revolution. Their fight will be greatly affected by their will to win. Their inner need to win due to liberties and freedom will set them apart.

Right from the start they had their priorities in the order. “The spirit of the 76” is a common sentiment of the Patriots side. This was a thought of all men able to serve would serve in the war. (Ferling, Para 11). Their patriotism would be their greatest weapon. Of Course they had the standard tools for fighting but this set them apart. They rallied all their forces and put a need to fight in all the hearts of all the able-bodied men.
