The first quarter of english 12, we read Hamlet by Shakespeare. In Hamlet, there is a boy named Hamlet who’s father died 2 months prior to the start of the book. Hamlet comes to find out that his father was killed by Claudius (Hamlet’s father’s brother) by poisoning Hamlet’s father while he was sleeping so Hamlet seeks revenge and appears to become insane. Hamlet was faking being insane. Next, we will talk about some facts concluding that Hamlet is faking being insane. Hamlet is not insane. In the play, Hamlet says “I essentially am not in madness, but mad in craft”. Hamlet is essentially saying that He is not insane, but he is just acting insane. Therefore he is pretending to be insane. Let’s look at some more evidence to why Hamlet
