If they lose sight of their “prized possession” for a nano-second they seem to not only lose their technology but lose their mind for the time being. It is crazy to me how dependent people are becoming on such a small device. When someone loses track of their phone, it seems like the end of the world for that person. I promise, it 's not. From personal experience, it is actually really relaxing to not have your phone with you. I have gone a week without my phone on 3 separate occasions and honestly those weeks were the best weeks of my life. I went to a camp in Minnesota for the week where we were not allowed to have our phones, or any access to any technology whatsoever. It was great to actually eat dinner with a group of people without feeling like you 're talking to a wall and that your conversation is meaningless. Conversation was genuine and you could actually experience what life used to feel like before the age of technology. I would highly suggest taking a break from your phones for even a day just so you can feel how freeing it …show more content…
Not everything about it is bad I just think that it is beginning to not just be a “crutch” when we need help, but the only way we can think over something we might not know. One of the good things about technology for example, is that phones are needed to contact people very quickly. People can stay in contact over very long distances very quickly which is very nice. Phones and other technology, are great sources of entertainment, when used in moderation. Most things are good in moderation. In today 's world, some people 's jobs actually depend on being on their device of technology. There is nothing wrong with this they need to use technology in order to make a living. What matters is what those people do after work, do they stay on technology after work, or do they do other things like go for a run, walk the dog, or even just sit and look at the clouds. As long as they stay off of technology after being on it all day I don 't see a
