It affects where you live, how much you should pay for your basic necessity, global warming doesn 't just affect humans it also affects animals for an example polar bears are dying because their food source is becoming scarce and not being able to survive due to drowning from the ice capsules melting, fishes are coming out of the ocean dead because of the oil spills that occur. The problem with all of this is that so many humans don 't think that Global warming is an actual thing and all the other things that are affecting this world today, big corporations that are involved with fossil fuel are filled with greed that they won 't stop harming the planet as long as they make money and humans need to start treating this as a serious problem before all the animals and rainforest are gone.Without knowing the problems to normal daily routines it causes people to feel like they are not doing anything wrong. People need to realize how big of an ecological footprint they have on the world today. An example of this is shown in this data about the average person 's ecological footprint in the U.S: “The average American has an Ecological Footprint of 9.0 global hectares (23 acres) – the size of 17½ American football fields. The average European has a Footprint of 4.5 global hectares, half that of

Around the world, we need to tackle the issues of climate change and alter the way we consume and dispose of resources. When the sun 's rays come to earth and then radiate back out to space, they can’t go back because of the one way, very thick greenhouse gas barrier. The 20 warmest years ever have happened since 1981 and with 10 of the warmest happening within the past 12 years and this is continuing to get worse as the years go on.…

Its complexity comes from the diversity in its impact. Global warming has the ability to affect a community in many different ways. Normally, global warming is defined by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary as “the recent increase in the world 's temperature that is believed to be caused by the increase of certain gases (such as carbon dioxide) in the atmosphere”. However, global warming’s effects are much more substantial than just increased temperatures.…

Flooding is a main product of climate change, which is one reason why climate change is an important issue in our society today. Climate change is defined, according to the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as an “...increase in global average air and ocean temperatures, widespread melting of snow and ice, and rising global average sea level.” The U.S. National Academy of Sciences concludes that “... the Earth system is warming and that much of this warming is very likely due to human activities.…

Global climate change has been an extremely debatable topic over the years, where supporters and opposers alike strongly argue whether that humans are responsible or not to the increasing climate problems we face. climate change refers to the increase in average global temperatures primarily due to the increase of greenhouse gasses such as co2. The scientific discovery of climate change started in the 19th century when the greenhouse effect was first being noticed, after the topic was introduced, many scientists from all over the world started posing theories about climate change which led it to be a big public debate. Climate change is contrversial but extremely important problem to resolve. I, as a climate enthusiast, feel that humans are to take the blame for the changes we see daily to our atmosphere.…

Scientists that study climate change and greenhouse gases conclude that “we now have overwhelming evidence that human emission of greenhouse gases has already begun to change the climate and it will continue to do so unless emissions are halted” (Oppenheimer and Antilla-Hughes). This quote proves that the emissions of greenhouse gases is the utmost factor in climate change. If we do not do anything about climate change now and continue to contribute to this global problem, future generations will be affected extremely negatively. The changes in precipitation that are created by climate change will cause some places in the world to become drier and other places much wetter. This means that the water will not be dispersed evenly anymore, leaving families in the dry without water access or rising water prices that will definitely not be affordable to the poor.…

The subject of climate change has been hotly debated over the past decade. It is now obvious that the climate is changing and that it is more than likely going to cause problems in the future. The amount of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere has considerably increased since the Industrial Revolution. As fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas, and crude oil are burned, carbon dioxide is discharged into the atmosphere where it is trapped. This is called the greenhouse effect and although essential to the survival of all life on Earth, this process has gotten out of hand recently.…
