Animal testing is defined as referring to the procedures that are performed on animals for the purpose of researching into the basic biology and diseases. It is also used for assessing the effectiveness of new medicinal products and for testing for human health and environmental safety of consumer. Studies have shown that most animals that are used for testing to products that are to be used by humans, are not equally alike to humans so the experimental findings are not always completely accurate and cause many scientific limitations that are not to be overcome. More often than not, the symptoms and responses that are found in the experiments to potential treatments for humans, the results show that the responses are not close enough to humans as they are for the animals that were tested. This shows that most outcomes of the testing that are done on animals are not close enough to the correct outcomes of humans. This means that just because something is safe and approved for animals, it does not mean that it is going to have the same effect on humans because they are too dissimilar. This is why many medicines are recalled in the early stages of their development, because they are not truly safe for human consumption and treatment (About Animal
