Iran is a very small country, with a population of nearly eighty- million people. Born and raised in Iran, I surely can tell a lot about Iran and the people. But what always grabbed my attention was to figure out who were the first people who immigrated to the United States, and what were their reasons. For every immigrant, there are many reasons that he or she chooses to leave his or her hometown and belongings to immigrate to another country, in this case United States. Same goes for Iranians. The first, and probably the less known pull to the United States was Education. Many people wanted to travel to the United States in hopes for a better education.
