Many people will experience isolation and solitude during their lifetime. Christopher Kezelos’s (2011) ‘Zero’ and Adam Elliot’s (2009) ‘Mary and Max’ portray the difficulties of deliberate seclusion and lonesomeness perceived through the character’s point of view. This could result in the audience having a sense of understanding and empathy of the distress and anxiety portrayed by the characters, reminding them of their experience of self-worthlessness and rejection.…

The group Anonymous is often seen as a negative force. However, it has recently branched out for the better; this concept can be exemplified through the analogy of a tree since, as one unknown author remarks, “like branches of a tree, our lives may grow in different directions, Anonymous, an online and underground group, as Gabriella Coleman—a yet our roots remain as one.” Even as a tree grows and branches out, it will always remain rooted in the seeds that sowed it. The tree, similarly to cultural anthropologist, in the article published in Triple Canopy, “Our Weirdness Is Free -- The Logic of Anonymous -- Online Army” claims, even though Anonymous has branched out for the better, its roots still remain as one. Albeit the fact…
