Due to the intense subsequent competition in the polish labour market, there is very little job security not like the US. People are often employed temporarily on contracts that are extended on a week-to-week basis, which is very stressful for the employees and their families. If an employee for example is not willing or able to work overtime, there is a long list of people waiting to take that job and work overtime. The average working hours in Poland are from 8am to 4pm during weekdays and 8am to 2pm on Saturdays.
