One of the theories is the introversion. Introversion is stated by Carl Jung as “to describe the directing if the libido, or psychic energy, toward things in the internal world” (Friedman, 2012). In other words, introverts are the ones who prefer solitary activities instead of partying like wild animals. Another theory is authoritarian personality in which shows the person how they are when it comes to being narrow minded, how defensive they get, and if they are prejudice. Authoritarian personality was started during the 1930s and 1940s because of World War II. It was due to the fact that Hitler was prejudice against other cultures and he the power to control the German to kill them off. Today there are still some people that believe that they have the upper hand against other cultures because they believe they are stronger. That’s why so many people of color are dying because others think they are superior than the people of color. The final theory is anxiety which is feeling nervous and tense in a challenging way internally or externally. It’s the ego’s job to make a person safe from anxiety if it fails then there is going to be consequences.
