By understand that poverty is the central reason for majority of Lalee’s family concerns, the invention implemented will be designed to target this specific area. In addition, another reason I would address poverty as the central reason is because I agree with Maslow’s statement that “until the basic needs are met, people cannot be expected to achieve greater levels of achievement”() . By understanding Maslow hierarchy of needs specifically physiological, safety, and security needs, the first intervention needed is to help improve Lalee’s family concerns in the area of proper shelter or living conditions, healthier food and the proper water supply.
