I-Dika is a company based in Volpiano, Torino, founded in 1968 from two CEO’s: Francesco Boffa and Giorgio Martinez. The owners of the industry are now letting their place to the successors, their sons: Andrea Boffa and Isabella Martinez. The business is a transport firm specialized in alcoholic beverages such as wine, beer and spirits and in luxury clothing; moreover, it is allowed and able to transport nearly all types of products almost worldwide. Since I-Dika has clients all over the globe, it organizes shipments via truck, boats and airplanes. At the beginning of my internship I was given my desk in the export sector where they wanted me to work most of the time; after, around my third week, when I felt I learned the job in that sector, I decided to ask my boss to tour all the sectors of the company to fully understand how it worked, the problems the sectors could encounter and how they intercepted between each other. This was an extremely interesting experience because it allowed me to face different problems, learn many things and carry out many different jobs.
E-mail marketing: In this sector I was in charged of taking care of the marketing of the company, I therefore was writing emails to potential clients proposing personalized services. Other type of target of my emails were old customers who stopped working with the I-Dika, to attract them back, I was proposing them, after speaking with the commercial director, new appealing tariffs to eventually start working back with
