Each day I participate in the intake/assessment process, job searching, observing staff and clients and job development. The intake/assessment is the Initial meeting with the client during which I gather information to address the client’s immediate needs to encourage his/her engagement and retention in Employment Services. The intake process is also used to screen clients to determine if they need additional services such as, transportation, clothing allowance, life skills classes or simply to find out what type of support system the clients has, or may not have. I collect key information concerning the client, family, caregiver(s) and informal supports. I collect this information and document to determine client’s skills, abilities and capabilities
