To prove this, research was done on professional Shogi players, which is a board game. The experiment was done by analyzing the activity inside the brains of these Shogi players, both the professionals and the amateurs. From the experiment they found out that the movement and decisions done by the professional players are made without them thinking about it. This discovery shows that it is possible to make decisions based on intuition alone if there is sufficient experience. Other than experience, prejudice can also play a huge role in decision making. With prejudice, the brain will categorize every knowledge into an organized group, making it easier for the brain to send and receive information, thus, faster decision making.
In conclusion, i agree to the statement as Ways of Knowing, especially reasoning, does slow down the decision making process significantly. However, there are several Ways of Knowing such as emotion and intuition, that makes Instinctive Judgment a lot faster as it allows both men and animals to rely on these aspects
